Since 1996, Starsteps has proudly trained thousands of talented dancers from Caldwell County and surrounding areas. In 2019, Starsteps continued to grow by opening a brand-new Gymnastics Center, expanding our commitment to helping young athletes shine. Our experienced instructors are dedicated to guiding each student toward their personal best—building confidence, skill, and a true love for performance. We remain committed to teaching proper technique, style, and performance skills to some of the finest dancers and gymnasts in North Carolina.

Whether a student trains with us for one year or a lifetime, our goal is the same: growth, confidence, and success. Starsteps provides a fun, safe, and nurturing environment where students strengthen their technique, coordination, rhythm, grace, and athletic ability. We believe in offering exceptional value to both students and families while helping each child discover their potential.

At the Starsteps Dance Center, students are trained using standardized movement and terminology in Classical Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Modern, Lyrical, and Hip Hop. Our dancers are taught to perform with confidence—not just follow—while progressing through age-appropriate training that builds courage, self-belief, and strong technical foundations.

At the Starsteps Gymnastics Center, our USA Gymnastics–certified instructors provide training in all areas of gymnastics and tumbling. Located at 514 Realty Street, next door to the Starsteps Dance Center, the facility opened in early 2019 and features a custom-designed gym including a 24’ x 42’ spring floor, foam pit with a 40’ tumble track, in-ground trampoline, balance beams, vault, bars, and more. Starsteps offers instruction for multiple skill levels, Ninja Warrior and parkour-style obstacle courses, open gym times, and additional training opportunities—all within the same supportive environment families have trusted for decades. The facility also serves as a unique venue in Caldwell County for birthday parties and cheer team practices.
