"Dancing is something that you can do anywhere, but at Starsteps it is so special. I can't even begin to describe the impact the Starsteps studio and family have had on my life. Starsteps and dance class was an escape. I could come into the studio and forgot about everything else going on in my life and focus on dance. Through dance, I made lifetime friends and memories that I will forever cherish. Along with the exceptional dance education, my teachers taught me many lessons that I will carry through my life. They were an encouragement and inspiration who taught me with grace. Starsteps has had such a positive influence in my life, I couldn't imagine life without it. After going away to college for a semester and not dancing, I found myself back home and back to walking in the doors at Starsteps every week. Starsteps Dance Center provided me with an extremely well-rounded education in commercial and competitive dance genres. I consistently use the foundation I received at Starsteps in my continued education in dance and in my professional dance career. More than that, Starsteps was a second home for me where I not only learned how to become a relevant dancer in the field, but also how to be a loyal teammate, a diligent worker, and a person of character. Dancing has gave me so much joy through the years. Starsteps has been my second home going on for 15 years now. I’m so thankful that dancing has helped me find career that will last a lifetime and that I get the opportunity to teach with some amazing people! I will always hold Michelle, Roxanne and Starsteps close to my heart.
