Starsteps Dance Dress Code Guidelines

Each level of dance requires specific attire as noted below. No jewelry.  Please put your students name in all dance shoes and attire.  All students must wear hair pulled up and away from the the face, so that it is not a distraction to the dancer.  Place a pack of hair bands or clips in your students bag to facilitate this  during practice.

We sell tights, leotards, and ballet, tap, jazz shoes and lyrical at the studio front desk.  We also sell a variety of Starsteps Dance Center clothing that can be worn as cover ups. 

Black Starsteps short sleeve leotard, theatrical pink tights and pink ballet shoes.

Black Starsteps short sleeve leotard, theatrical pink tights, Black buckle tap shoes, pink ballet shoes.

Solid black leotard, theatrical pink tights, pink split sole ballet shoes with elastics sewn on.

Any color one piece leotard, convertible tights, black jazz shoes.

Any color one piece leotard, convertible tights, black tap shoes, see teacher for style.

Any color one piece leotard, convertible tights, see teacher for style and color lyrical shoes.

Comfortable cool clothes, tennis shoes, black shoes required for spring performance.

Leotard and footless tights or comfortable clothes.

T-shirt, pants or shorts, appropriate shoes for classes taken.
